About the Role
Behavioral Health Aide Trainee: High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Familiar with the local community. Alaska driver’s license within six (6) months of hire with a good enough driving record to be covered by Maniilaq Association Vehicle insurance is preferred. Behavioral Health Aide Certification within 2 years of hire. Behavioral Health Aide I: Meets the requirements of a BHA Trainee above PLUS, a certification as a BHA I. Behavioral Health Aide II: Meets the requirements above, and has been certified as a BHA II. Behavioral Health Aide III: Meets the requirements of all of the above PLUS, has been certified as a BHA III. Behavioral Health Aide Practitioner: Meets the requirements of a BHA III, above PLUS, has been certified as a BHA/P.
