About the Role
Clinical Informaticist I: Training in Clinical Informatics preferred. An Associate’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or other clinical field. Two (2) years’ experience in clinical informatics support in a healthcare industry. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience. According to the needs of the organization, some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain specific technical certifications. May require travel to remote locations on an irregular basis. May be required to work alternative work schedules. May be called to work off-shift in emergency situations. Clinical Informaticist II: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or other clinical field. Three (3) additional years of experience in clinical informatics support in a healthcare industry. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
