Counselor Trainee/Technician I/II

Counselor Trainee: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR card within 6 months of hire. Alaska Driver’s license preferred, with a good enough driving history to be insured to drive Maniilaq vehicles. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, overnight weekends, and occasionally on short notice. OCS background check required. Counselor Technician I: Must meet all requirements of Counselor Trainee. Must possess a current Alaska Driver’s License and have a good enough driving history to be insured to drive Maniilaq vehicles. High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience working children in a structured work related setting. Prior computer and typing experience preferred. Counselor Technician II: Must meet requirements of Counselor Trainee and Technician I and a minimum of 5 years of working with children in a structured work related setting. Must obtain 12 hours of E-learning courses related to child and family development.
