About the Role

IT Security Analyst I:College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or three years equivalent work experience. Certifications in Microsoft, Network +, and A+ preferred. Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices preferred. In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network administration/protocols. Hands-on experience with devices such as hubs, switches, and routers. Knowledge of HIPPA laws relating to data privacy and protection. Ability to conduct research into security issues and products as required. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. IT Security Analyst II: All requirements of IT Security Analyst I. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or four years equivalent work experience. Certifications in Cisco security. IT Security Analyst III: All requirements of IT Security Analyst II. Certifications in MCSE and Security +.
