About the Role
Heartsaver CPR, complete AVADE training I, II, III or must obtain within 6 months of hire. Must successfully complete a medical terminology course within one year of hire. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and spend long periods standing and walking. Maybe be exposed to communicable diseases and hazardous materials. Must be able to pass the core competencies assigned to the unit annually. Must have the desire and ability to work with individuals under great stress. Must be willing to rotate shifts and be floated to other hospital locations as needs occur such as ambulatory clinic and inpatient. For PCT II – must maintain some formal health-training certificate beyond ETT, i.e. certified nursing assistance certification (CNA), emergency medical technician (EMT II), or CHAP.
